ECA: during Euro 2016, each club will receive approximately €5,800 compensation per player per day

The average amount that each European club will receive for their players at Euro 2016 is €5,800 per player per day of the competition, announced the ECA at the end of its 16th general assembly held in Paris (FRA) on 08 and 09/02/2016. European clubs who make their players available to national teams for the qualifying phase and the final phase of Euro 2016 will therefore receive a total of €150m, under the UEFA-ECA agreement of 2012.

For the qualifying phase played throughout 2014 and 2015, €50m will be paid to clubs:
- approximately €4,000 per player per day for players that took part in 10 qualifying matches
- approximately €3,400 for players that participated in 12 matches (group phase + playoffs).
This agreement is valid regardless of whether the national team has qualified for the tournament or not. UEFA will complete its calculations and announce the final amounts before the start of Euro 2016.
