Juventus (Serie A TIM) have launched a Mandarin account on WeChat (the Chinese instant messaging platform) announced the club on 06/02/2016. On this account, users can post written and voice messages about Juve, as well as photos, videos, and their locations.

The account has been launched to mark the Chinese New Year, which was celebrated on 08/02/2016. The club's Spanish striker Alvaro Morata recorded a welcome message in Mandarin and also wished a happy new year to all new Chinese subscribers.

Juventus have over 1.9 million followers on the Chinese social networks Tencent and Sina Weibo, as of 10/02/2016. The club also concluded an editorial partnership, in July 2015, with the social platform Sina.com, for the production of content in Mandarin relating to the clubs summer tour of Asia.
