The logo of the Paris bid to host the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games was unveiled using a projection onto the Arc de Triomphe, in Paris (FRA), on 09/02/2016, at 20:24 CET (in reference to the year 2024). The logo features a stylised Eiffel Tower, formed using the two digits in the number 24 (as in 2024 and 1924, the year of the previous Olympic games in Paris). The logo also features the five Olympic rings at its base, as well as the blue, white and red of the French flag at the top.

"The visual identity of Paris in 2024 beautifully reflects the values and ambitions of the bid. It sets itself apart with its relevance, its modernity, boldness and elegance. Then, as we saw tonight, combining the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower into the same image is a beautiful symbol," said Bernard Lapasset, co-chairman of the Paris 2024 bid committee, on 09/02/2016.

Designed by the French agency Red Dragon, this logo has become the profile picture of the official "Paris 2024" accounts on various social networks, and will be featured on the official website of the French bid…
