The Sky Bet Football League has extended the distribution agreement of its international TV rights (outside the UK) with the British marketing and media rights agency Pitch International for five seasons, on 12/02/2016. The initial contract, which began in 2012-13 and expires at the end of the 2016-17 season, has been extended until 2021-22.

Pitch International distributes the audiovisual rights of the Sky Bet Championship, League One and League Two, as well as the Capital One Cup and Johnstone's Paint Trophy, in 142 countries and territories worldwide.

The amount of the new contract with Pitch International has not been revealed by the Football League. The English professional league has indicated that it is a record deal, up 68% compared to the contract for the 2012-2017 period (the details of which were also not disclosed).
