MLS: Arsenal will play in the 2016 All-Star Game in San Jose, during their summer tour of the USA

Arsenal FC (Premier League) will play a selection of the best players from the North American League in the 2016 MLS All-Star Game, in San Jose (California, USA) on 28/07/2016, announced the English club and MLS on 11/02/2016. The match will be played at the Avaya Stadium (18,000 seats) in San Jose, which opened in 2015.

The 2016 All-Star Game will be the 12^th consecutive occasion that an "MLS All Stars Team" has faced a European team. Arsenal will be the seventh English club to participate in the exhibition match since 2005, after Fulham FC (2005), Chelsea FC (2006 and 2012), West Ham United FC (2008), Everton FC (2009) Manchester United FC (2010 and 2011) and Tottenham Hotspur FC (2015).

Arsenal will also play another match in the United States during their 2016 summer tour, against Mexican club Chivas Guadalajara (Liga MX) in Los Angeles (California, USA), on 31/07/2016. The club will not play any other matches outside of Europe during the 2016 offseason.
