FIFA: disclosure in March 2016 of the 2015 salaries of Blatter and Valcke, if the reforms are passed

FIFA will publish in March 2016 -- if the proposed reforms are adopted by the Congress in Zurich on 26/02/2016 -- the 2015 remuneration of Joseph Blatter (SUI), president of the international federation, suspended since 08/10/2016 and to be replaced on 26/02/2016, and Jérôme Valcke (FRA), former secretary general of FIFA, relieved of his duties with immediate effect on 17/09/2015, and then formally dismissed on 13/01/2016.

The disclosure of the remuneration of the president, the future FIFA Council members (the body which would replace the current Executive Committee) and the secretary general is one of nine main points of the reforms submitted to the Extraordinary Congress on 26/02/2016. To be adopted, this proposal must obtain 75% of the vote (with a quorum of at least 50% of FIFA's member associations).

The major point of the reforms is the separation of the political and management functions: the FIFA president and a Council of 36 members will define the strategy, and it will be the secretary general, essentially the CEO of the institution, to implement the decisions. Elected…
