NBA: Philadelphia 76ers launch a new online ticketing platform with StubHub

The NBA franchise Philadelphia 76ers and its partner StubHub (a company specialising in the purchase and resale of tickets for shows and sporting events) will set up a new ticketing platform from the season 2016-17, announced the US company on 08/02/2016. The platform will combine the primary and secondary markets for tickets, that is to say tickets sold by the franchise and those offered for resale by individuals.

"We’re excited to launch a groundbreaking ticketing marketplace with StubHub that for the first time, seamlessly integrates and makes available primary and secondary seats in one marketplace, on one seating map, with one blended pricing purchase process. This game-changing platform will provide Sixers fans unparalleled access to available seats with a world-class, fan-friendly mobile experience," said Scott O'Neil, chief executive of the Philadelphia 76ers.
