Nike: Adam Sussman named director of digital services for the sports equipment brand

The American sports equipment brand Nike has named Adam Sussman director of its digital service, on 09/02/2016. Under the direct authority of Trevor Edwards, the president of Nike, Adam Sussman will be in charge of the entire digital ecosystem, and will drive the development of the product offerings on Nike.com and the digital services on Nike+ and all brand activations.

"Digital offers a fundamental transformation of our business, as we create an industry-leading digital ecosystem that flows through all that we do. This is the leadership to which Nike is accustomed. Today's announcement is a continuation of the Nike promise to develop deep and lasting relationships with consumers, to offer the best athletic service, period" stated Trevor Edwards.

Nike aims to reach $50bn (€44bn) of annual turnover by 2020. The brand realised a turnover of $8.4bn (€7.5bn) in the first quarter of the 2016 fiscal year (from 01/06/2015 to 31/08/2015), up 5% from the first quarter of 2015 ($7.98bn).
