Paris 2024: 8 of the Euro 2016 stadiums among the 9 selected for the Olympic football tournaments

Eight host stadiums of Euro 2016 are among the nine pre-selected stadiums to host matches of the men's and women's Olympic football tournaments at the 2024 Olympics, confirmed the Paris 2024 bid committee at the official presentation of the Olympic and Paralympic project in Paris (FRA), on 17/02/2016.

The bid committee announced the pre-selection of the nine stadiums on 18/12/2015. Both tournaments will actually be played in eight stadiums as one of nine pre-selected stages will be eliminated if Paris is chosen as the host city of the 2024 Olympic Games at the 130^th IOC Session in Lima (Peru) on 13/09/2017. The finals of both tournaments will be played at the Parc des Princes.

The nine pre-selected stadiums are:

• Matmut Atlantic (Bordeaux, 42,115 seats)
• Stade Pierre-Mauroy (Lille, 50,000 seats)
• Parc OL (Lyon, 59,186 seats)
