France: four candidates were interviewed for the position of CEO of the LFP on 17/02/2016

Four candidates to be the next CEO of the LFP were interviewed on 17/02/2016 at the headquarters of the headhunter firm Spencer Stuart in Paris (FRA), sources confirmed to News Tank Football on 19/02/2016. These four candidates were Christophe Bouchet, former president of Olympique de Marseille, Robin Leproux, former president of Paris Saint-Germain FC, Didier Quillot, a member of the board of the LFP, and Laurent-Éric Le Lay, the president of TF1 Publicité (France Televisions group).

A selection committee, composed of executives of Ligue 1 clubs -- Jean-Michel Aulas (Olympique de Lyonnais), Jean-Claude Blanc (Paris Saint-Germain FC), Bernard Caïazzo (AS Saint-Etienne) and Waldemar Kita (FC Nantes), along with additional names -- was set up to participate in the selection of the next CEO of the LFP, who will soon succeed Jean-Pierre Hugues, sources indicated to News Tank Football on 22/01/2016. Club presidents do not want Frederic Thiriez, the president of the LFP, to be the only person to choose the future director, whose powers and authority could be expanded (see below).
