Liga BBVA: Chinese company ZTE becomes the smartphone partner of Sevilla FC in 2015-16

The Chinese company ZTE has become the official smartphone partner of Sevilla FC (Liga BBVA) in 2015-16, the club announced on 22/02/2016. ZTE and Sevilla FC will organise events to connect with fans until June 2016.

The Chinese company will benefit from the marketing rights of the club as well as visibility on the LED advertising boards of the stadium. The electronics manufacturer will launch a competition to win smartphones, tickets and team merchandise.

ZTE plans to increase the number of overseas stores where it is distributed to 50,000 -- compared to 30,000 currently -- by the end of 2016. Sevilla FC generated €11.66m in commercial revenue in the 2015-16 season. The club has no shirt sponsor in 2015-16.
