Copa del Rey: the final between Barça-Sevilla to be played at the Vicente Calderón, on 22/05/2016

The Estadio Vicente Calderón (Madrid, 54,900 seats) will host the final of the 2015-16 Copa del Rey between FC Barcelona (Liga BBVA) and Sevilla FC (Liga BBVA) on Sunday 22/05/2016, announced the RFEF, following a technical meeting between the Spanish Federation and the two finalist clubs on 23/02/2016.

Each year, the host stadium for the final of the Copa del Rey is chosen by the RFEF after the semi-finals of the event. The 2016 final will be the 13^th played at the Vicente Calderón and the 49^th in the city of Madrid (36 at the Santiago Bernabeu).

The 2014-15 final (FC Barcelona - Athletic Club Bilbao, 3-1) took place at the Camp Nou in Barcelona (99,500 seats).
