Italy: Sky Italia acquires exclusive broadcasting rights to the 2016 Copa America Centenario

The Italian pay-TV group Sky Italia has acquired the distribution rights, in Italy, for the 2016 Copa America Centenario, announced the Sky Sport HD channel on 20/02/2016.

The 32 matches in the competition, organised in the United States from 03 to 26/06/2016, will be broadcast live, exclusively and in high definition on the Sky Sport HD channel. The matches will also be broadcast on Sky Go, the live and on-demand internet and mobile streaming service for Sky programmes. The Italian pay-TV group did not disclose the amount of the agreement.

This special edition of the Copa America will celebrate both the 100^th anniversary of CONMEBOL and the competition itself.
