FIFA museum opens to the general public, "In this place, only football matters" (Gianni Infantino)

"This is a place in which football is lived and breathed. Here you can inoculate yourself with the football virus, if you don’t already have it. In this place, only football matters!" said Gianni Infantino, the new president of FIFA, at the ceremony marking the opening of the FIFA World Football Museum in Zurich (SUI), on 28/02/2016.

This is the first official statement from Gianni Infantino since his election to the presidency of FIFA on 26/02/2016.

The museum covers 3,000 square meters and features 1,000 objects, 1,400 photos, 500 videos, 60 screens and 15 interactive stations. The place also has a 180° cinema, a sports bar, a bistro, a cafe and a library. Rooms are also available for events and seminars.
