Matchday 28 of the 2015-16 Ligue 1 season drew an average of 20,318 spectators per match from 26 to 28/02/2016. The average attendance of the French championship after 28 matchdays is 20,543 spectators per match, equating to 1,794 people less than at the end of the 2014-15 season (-10%). The Ligue 1 fill rate was 67% in 2015-16.

The match between Olympique Lyonnais - Paris Saint-Germain FC (2-1) drew the largest crowd of the matchday, with 56,661 spectators at Parc OL, according to official figures from the LFP. Six of the nine games on Matchday 28 were played in front of fewer than 15,000 people.

The match between GFC Ajaccio - Olympique de Marseille, scheduled for 28/02/2016, was postponed due to inclement weather.
