China: MG becomes the official automotive partner of Liverpool until the end of the 2016-17 season

The Chinese automaker MG has become the official automobile partner of Liverpool FC (Premier League) in China until the end of the 2016-17 season, announced the Premier League club on 26/02/2016. This is the first regional partnership in China for Liverpool FC.

Financial details of the 18 month-long partnership have not been disclosed. All activations will be presented at the Beijing International Auto Show (CHN), from 25/04 to 04/05/2016. Liverpool players Philippe Coutinho (BRA), Adam Lallana and Jordan Henderson (ENG) will feature in an ad campaign on Chinese television in late spring 2016.

The benefits of the partnership include visibility on digital platforms and social networks, as well as VIP packages. A limited edition "Liverpool FC" MG GS car will also be sold in China, announced Chinese and British media on 25/02/2016.
