ECA: Tibor Navracsis and Karl-Heinz Rummenigge meet in Munich to discuss football in Europe

Tibor Navracsics (HUN), the European Commissioner for Education, Culture, Youth and Sport, and Karl-Heinz Rummenigge (GER), the chairman of the ECA, attended a meeting in Munich (GER) on 29/02/2016. The two leaders discussed the future of the transfer system and the digital media rights market in Europe, as well as the role of UEFA after the election of Gianni Infantino (ITA-SUI) as president of FIFA on 26/02/2016.

"I am very happy to have met with Tibor Navracsics once again and share with him the ECA's views and vision for the further development of football in Europe at this crucial time in the history of the game," said Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, who is also the chief executive of FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga), after the meeting on 29/02/2016.

"Football is facing serious challenges and I believe that the solution lies in a process of fundamental reform with the involvement of all relevant stakeholders.
