Matchday 23 of the 2015-16 Bundesliga season drew an average of 45,045 spectators per match from 26 to 28/02/2016. The average attendance of the German championship is currently 43,080 spectators per match in the 2015-16 season, for a 93% stadium fill rate.

The match between Borussia Dortmund - TSG 1899 Hoffenheim (3-1 on 28/02/2016) drew the best crowd of the matchday with 81,359 spectators at Signal Iduna Park. The Bundesliga is the leading football league in the world in terms of attendance, attracting more than 25,000 spectators at each of the nine stadiums which hosted games on Matchday 23.
