UEFA: succession of Gianni Infantino to the agenda of the Executive Committee on 04/03/2016

"Following the election of Gianni Infantino, UEFA general secretary, to the presidency of FIFA, the UEFA Executive Committee will discuss his successor as UEFA general secretary at its next meeting, on Friday 04/02/2016," stated UEFA on 26/02/2016. At the extraordinary UEFA Congress held in Zurich (SUI) on 25/02/2016, the deputy general secretary, Theorode Theodoridis (GRE) served as general secretary. He is the favorite to succeed Gianni Infantino in the role permanently.

Other items on the agenda of this Executive Committee meeting held at the House of European Football in Nyon (SUI), from 09:00 to 12:00 CET, include the next election of a woman as a member of the Executive Committee, which will be held for the first time during the 40^th Ordinary UEFA Congress on 03/05/2016 in Budapest (HUN).
