Premier League: €2.9bn in revenue in 2011/12 (+4%)

In the Annual Review of Football Finance published by Deloitte on the 06/06/2013, it was found that the 20 Premier League clubs have accumulated €2.9bn in revenue during the 2011/12 season, up 4% compared to 2010/11 (€2.8bn).

This figure is much higher than any of the other four major European leagues for the 2011/12 season:
1 - Premier League (ENG). €2.9bn
2 - Bundesliga (GER). €1.9bn (66% of sales in the Premier League)
3 - La Liga (SPA) €21.8bn (62%)
4 - Serie A (ITA) €1.6bn (55%)
5 - Ligue 1 (FRA) €1.1bn (38%)

According to Deloitte, the Premier League's revenue will increase by 5% in 2012/13 to €3.05bn.

In 2013-14, the turnover of the Premier League is expected to increase by €706m (+25%), with the first season of the Premier League's new broadcast deals (€6.5bn in total for 2013/2016), taking the projected revenue of Premier League clubs above €3.75bn for the first time.

In 2011/12, the 92 English professional clubs (top four divisions) passed the €3.5bn mark for the first time.
