Everton FC (Premier League) have launched an official account on Snapchat, the photo and short video sharing application, announced the club, on 05/03/2016. The account will feature behind-the-scenes photos and videos of the club at Goodison Park (39,571 seats) and at the Finch Farm training centre.

This decision was made by the club management on the recommendation of the "Junior fans" forum, which has met every year since 2014 and is composed of young Everton fans aged between 11 and 16 years old. The purpose of this forum is to propose new ideas for events and digital activations.

"The role of the Junior Fans’ Forum was pivotal in our move on to Snapchat. The feedback and guidance our junior fans have provided has been crucial in ensuring the club’s official Snapchat account is managed in a way that ensures the social media app offers a different and varied insight into Everton on matchdays and beyond," said Scott McLeod, head of content at Everton FC, on 05/03/2016.
