ECA: 35 clubs meet for a workshop dedicated to women's football clubs, in Barcelona on 08/03/2016

Representatives of 35 European clubs have attended the first workshop dedicated to women's football clubs, organised by the ECA at La Masia, FC Barcelona's training centre (Liga BBVA), on 08/03/2016, on International Women's Day.

A total of 55 people, including members of the European leagues, FIFA and UEFA, attended the event, which aimed to share experiences and good practices for the development of women's football.

"Focused mainly on organisation, strategy and crisis management, the ECA Workshop on Women's Club Football featured three case studies (see-below) -- each followed by a Q&A session during which the audience was able to share ideas and experiences related to the different topics -- a lively panel discussion and a tour of the Academy facilities used by the women's team as well as all youth teams of FC Barcelona to end the day," stated the European Club Association.
