"We have two goals for Euro 2016. The first is to innovate sustainably: product, marketing and digital innovations put place for the event will continue after it has finished. Secondly, we want to make an emotional connection with the widest possible audience," said Manuel Berquet, director of Euro 2016 for The Coca-Cola Company, during the presentation of the Coca-Cola activations and marketing strategy for Euro 2016, in Paris (FRA) on 10/03/2016.

The American soft drinks brand is a global partner of UEFA as well as the European Championship, which will take place in France from 10/06 to 10/07/2016. Coca-Cola set up its main innovations and activations to appeal to consumers at the five places where they experience football and the brand together: at home, in bars, at the stadium, in the city (fan zones and playgrounds) and in retail outlets.
