FIFA: first Executive Committee meeting chaired by Gianni Infantino on 17 and 18/03/2016

The FIFA Executive Committee will meet for the first time under the chairmanship of Gianni Infantino at FIFA headquarters in Zurich (SUI), on Thursday 17 and Friday 18/03/2016, indicated the international federation on 10/03/2016. Gianni Infantino (ITA-SUI) became the ninth president of FIFA on 26/02/2016.

In addition to the reports of the various committees that will be collected during the previous days, the agenda includes an update on the investigations of the US and Swiss legal authorities, as well as the new governance of FIFA reforms passed at the extraordinary Congress on 26/02/2016 in Zurich, and which take effect 60 days later, on 26/04/2016. So this meeting of the Executive Committee of 17 and 18/03/2016 should be the last in this format, since the Executive Committee will then become the FIFA Council, a widened body that will eventually include 37 members, including the president.

The next meeting of FIFA management is scheduled for 09 and 10/05/2016 in Mexico City (MEX), just before the 66^th FIFA Congress held in Mexico City on 12 and 13/05/2016.
