EDF, the French national power and energy company, has entered into a partnership with the FFF to supply 100% renewable electricity for the Paris headquarters of the Federation in Paris and the National Football Centre at Clairefontaine (Yvelines), on 09/03/2016. The public company became a major partner of the FFF for the 2014-2018 period on 05/06/2014.

Through this agreement, EDF guarantees the FFF that for every 1 MWh consumed, 1 MWh of renewable electricity will be produced by the EDF generation fleet in France and be injected into the power grid. The power consumption of the FFF headquarters and the National Football Centre is approximately 500 MWh per year.

"For the FFF, this decision is part of the environmental component of sustainable actions which the Federation intends to conduct. It is consistent with the National Strategy for Transition to Environmentally Sustainable Development of Sport (SNTEDDS) being carried out by the French Ministry of Environment, Energy and the Sea and the Department of the City, Youth and Sports," stated the FFF.
