Star Sports acquire the rights to broadcast the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup in Asia

On the 07/06/2013, Star Sports acquired the rights to broadcast 16 matches of the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup, held in Brazil from 15 to 30/06/2013. The company will broadcast the event on its various Asian channels, including in India, China, Philippines and Hong Kong, via ESPN and Star Sports. The value of the deal has not been disclosed.
