Hull City AFC launch the "Earn Your Stripes" scheme to replace its current season ticket system

Hull City AFC (Championship) will launch the "Earn Your Stripes" ticketing programme for the 2016-17 season, announced the club on 16/03/2016. The new ticketing scheme, the exact details of which will be announced in the future, will be "a fairer, simpler and, for many, cheaper way of watching the Tigers in action next season", said a statement on the club website.

The "Earn Your Stripes" scheme will replace the traditional season ticket plan currently in place at the club. The new system will feature a three tier membership programme, and will include offers for further benefits such as away match ticket priority, the option to sign-up to Away Direct (a system where fans can reserve match tickets for every away league match in the season), as well as discounted away match travel.

"Our new Earn Your Stripes Season Membership offers a fairer and simpler pricing plan and is just one of the ways in which the Club can ensure that there is no financial barrier to watching our script unfold," said Ehab Allam, vice-chairman of Hull City FC, on 16/06/2016.
