FIFA: $27.9m (€24.6m) in compensation for elected officers and directors (40 people) in 2015

"The aggregate remuneration for the members of the Executive Committee, the President, the Secretary General and the FIFA management, in particular the directors (totalling 40 people), for the financial year 2015 amounts to $27.9m (€24.6m)," announced the international federation in its financial report and governance, published on 17/03/2016.

In 2015, Joseph Blatter, the president, and Jerome Valcke, the secretary general, received between them 20.6% of these €24.6m (€3.2m, or 13%, to Joseph Blatter and €1.88m, or 7.6%, Jerome Valcke):

• "The highest remuneration to a member of the Executive Committee in the year 2015 was paid to the President." Sepp Blatter (succeeded by Gianni Infantino on 26/02/2016), received the amount of $3,634,857 (€3.2m), according to FIFA.

• The highest remuneration to a member of the key management in the year 2015 was paid to the Secretary General." Jerome Valcke (suspended on 17/09/2015, then formally dismissed on 09/01/2016) received the amount of $2,124,822 (€1.88m), according to FIFA.
