Matchday 27 of the 2015-16 Bundesliga season attracted an average of 43,760 spectators from 18 to 20/03/2016. The average attendance of the German championship is currently at 42,821 spectators during the 2015-16 season, 1.6% less than in 2014-15. The average fill rate is 91% in 2015-16.

The match between FC Schalke 04 - Borussia Mönchengaldbach (2-1) drew the best crowd of the weekend, with 62,271 spectators (sold out) at the Veltins Arena in Gelsenkirchen. The Bundesliga is the leading football league in the world in terms of attendance, with more than 25,000 spectators at each of the nine stadiums which hosted matches on Matchday 27.
