Premier League: attendance on Matchdays 30 and 31, the Manchester derby draws 54,557 spectators

Matchday 31 of the 2015-16 Premier League season attracted an average of 34,673 spectators on 19 and 20/03/2016. The average attendance of the championship is currently at 36,429 spectators, at a fill rate of 96%, a stable number of spectators compared to the 2014-15 season (36,176).

The match between Manchester City FC - Manchester United FC (0-1) drew the largest crowd of the weekend with 54,557 spectators at the Etihad Stadium. All 10 matches were attended by over 20,000 spectators.

Five games were played mid-week, on Matchday 30 of the 2015-16 season, from 12 to 14/03/2016, with the match between Aston Villa FC - Tottenham Hotspur FC (0-2) registering the best attendance with 32,393 spectators at Villa Park (42,700 seats). Five of the games on Matchday 30 were postponed due to the participation of several Premier League clubs in the FA Cup on 13 and 14/03/2016. These five matches were rescheduled on various dates between 20/04 and 11/05/2016.
