Bundesliga: Ingolstadt promote an Easter bunny race organised by its sponsor, Media Markt

Media Markt, the German electronics retailer, has activated its partnership with FC Ingolstadt 04 (Bundesliga) to promote its annual Easter bunny race, held on 23, 24 and 26/03/2016. Media Markt is the official shirt sponsor of Ingolstadt for the 2015-2018 period.

The coach of the Bavarian club, Ralph Hasenhüttl (in German, "Hasenhütte" roughly translates as "rabbit cage") features in a commercial for Media Markt, in which he leads a training session with the 10 rabbits on the pitch of the Audi Sportpark (15,800 places). The three Easter 2016 races, which are Euro 2016 themed, will be broadcast live on the German TV channels RTL, Super RTL, RTL Nitor, RTL 2, VOX, n-tv, SAT.1 and ProSieben, as well as in Switzerland and Austria.

Each race is accompanied by a competition: for every purchase made in a Media Markt store or on the retailer's website between 21 and 26/03/2016, a customer will be refunded 50% of that purchase if the last number on the receipt matches the number of the rabbit who wins the race.
