Spain: LaLiga launch a platform to promote other Spanish sports

LaLiga has launched the online platform LaLiga4Sports.es in partnership with the CSD, which aims to promote Spanish sport via coverage of 64 different Spanish sports, on 21/03/2016.

LaLiga4Sports.es will broadcast national and international competitions, as well as interviews, highlights and exclusive content to allow full coverage of the different sports included in the agreement. The aim of the platform is to improve the exposure of sports with low media coverage.

"We hope that the launch of the webpage will see the quality content already offered by LaLiga extended to other sports and athletes, whose achievements are not always covered as well as those in football. We are the mechanism that will give their successes more exposure," said Javier Tebas, president of LaLiga on 21/03/2016.
