2016 International Champions Cup: 10 European clubs will compete in the USA and Europe

10 clubs from six European countries will participate in the American and European stages of the 2016 International Champions Cup pre-season friendly competition held from 23/07 to 03/08/2016: Celtic FC (Scottish Premiership), Leicester City FC (Premier League), FC Internazionale Milano (Serie A TIM), Paris Saint-Germain FC (Ligue 1), Real Madrid CF (Liga BBVA), FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga) AC Milan (Serie A TIM), Chelsea FC (Premier League), Liverpool FC (Premier League) and FC Barcelona (Liga BBVA).

The 15 matches between the 10 clubs were announced, on 22/03/2016, during the presentation of the 2016 International Champions Cup. The competition is managed by the US company Relevent Sports, a subsidiary of CSR Ventures, which created the tournament in 2013. Nine US cities (including one which is yet to be announced), as well as Glasgow (Scotland), Dublin (Ireland), Stockholm (Sweden) and two other unconfirmed European cities will host the 15 matches. Each of the 10 clubs involved will play two or three games.
