Sponsorship: other Chinese companies will partner with FIFA, according to Wang Jianlin (Wanda Group)

"To my knowledge, another Chinese company will become a FIFA top sponsor soon. If there are no surprises, there will be three Chinese top-level sponsors by the end of the year," said Wang Jianlin, president of Wanda Group, at a press conference in Beijing (CHN) on 21/03/2016.

The Chinese conglomerate (tourism, hotels, entertainment) became a FIFA Partner, the highest partner level in the sponsorship structure of the international federation, for a period of 14 years (through the 2030 World Cup), on 18/03/2016. Wanda is the first Chinese partner in the history of FIFA. The amount the partnership has not been revealed, but it would be one of the most important in the history of FIFA, according to the BBC on 18/03/2016.

In addition to Wanda, five other companies are "FIFA Partners": Coca-Cola (beverages), Gazprom (energy), adidas (sports equipment), Visa (credit card) and Hyundai / Kia (automobiles).
