2018 NBA All Star Game will take place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, as in 2004 and 2011

The 2018 NBA All Star Weekend (from 16 to 18/02/2018), which will feature the All Star Game, a match between the 12 best players from the Eastern and Western Conferences, will be held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles (California) announced the North American professional basketball league on 23/03/2016.

The 2018 edition of the All Star Game will be the third held at Staples Center (19,000 seats), after the 2004 and 2011 editions. The arena, constructed in 1999, also hosted the NHL All Star Game in 2002. About 250 events are held at the Staples Center each year, most of which are LA Lakers and LA Clippers home games, the two NBA franchises based in Los Angeles.

In 2018, Los Angeles will host the All Star Game for a record sixth time. The 2016 All Star Weekend, held in Toronto (Ontario, Canada), was the first to be held outside the United States since its inception in 1951. In 2017, the event will be held in Charlotte (North Carolina).
