FC Barcelona: the fifth edition of the tournament with 1,200 young FCB football school students

FC Barcelona (Liga BBVA) organised the fifth edition of the international tournament FCBEscola, involving 1,200 children aged from 6 to 11 years old, on the training pitches of the Mini Estadi, the home of the club's B team, from 21 to 24/03/2016.

The young participants were members of schools belonging to FCBEscola network -- FC Barcelona football schools for 6-11 year olds. 19 countries have at least one FCBEscola school, which aims to "develop the Barça brand and convey the work of our club philosophy and values throughout the world".

A total of 107 teams representing 26 Barça schools participated in the tournament, divided into four age categories. 327 matches were played during the competition, the final of which was broadcast on Barça TV and the club website on 24/03/2016.
