2016 SportAccord Convention in Lausanne (Switzerland) from 17 to 22/04/2016

The 2016 edition of the SportAccord Convention will take place at the Swiss Tech Convention Center in Lausanne (SUI) from 17 to 22/04/2016. This event brings together, each year since 2003, the heads of international sports federations, rights holders, sports event organising committees, host cities around conferences and exhibitions.

Organised by SportAccord, the association of international sports federations, the 2016 edition revolves around five conferences: sports law, the forum of host cities, media, a digital summit and the plenary conference. Speakers include Alex Trickett (president of Twitter in charge of sports), Sam Li (director of acquisitions and strategic partnerships of the Chinese portal Sina Sports), David Haggerty (president of the ITF), Sandra Gage (director of marketing of the CSA) and Thierry Borra (director of the management of the Olympic Games in The Coca-Cola Company).

The registration fee is 2,500 Swiss francs (€2,300) per person for registration before 31/03/2016, and then increase to 3000 CHF (€2760). Participants include representatives from Amaury…
