Liga BBVA: Powerpixxel installs a 176 m² screen outside the stadium of RCD Espanyol

RCD Espanyol (Liga BBVA) and their partner Powerpixxel, a German company based in Stuttgart specialising in digital displays, have installed a giant screen on the facade of the RCDE Stadium on 17/03/2016. This screen, with an area of 176m² (8m x 22m) will function 24 hours per day, every day of the week, and will be operated by Powerpixxel for commercial purposes.

"This is one of the most modern football stadiums in Spain, with a strategic location near a large shopping centre and direct access to the motorway. It is estimated that some 180,000 cars pass by the stadium every day, which makes it very attractive for advertisers, not just on match days," said Powerpixxel.

• RCD Espanyol are currently in 12^th place in the Liga BBVA after 30 matchdays with 35 points, 7 points above 18^th-placed Getafe CF, in the first relegation place (28 points).
