Clasico Barça - Real: match in virtual reality in two Movistar stores on 02/04/2016

Movistar+, the pay-TV platform of the Spanish telecom operator Telefonica, is broadcasting El Clasico between FC Barcelona - Real Madrid CF (Matchday 31 of the Liga BBVA) with virtual reality technology, in collaboration with Samsung, the South Korean manufacturer of electronics products, and LaLiga, in its largest boutiques in Madrid and Barcelona, on Saturday, 02/04/2016 (kick-off at 20:30 CET).

This is the first time it is possible to follow a sporting event with virtual reality (VR) using the Samsung Gear VR virtual reality headsets. Viewers equipped with this element can choose, during the match, between five locations in the stadium, including one in the central stand and others behind the goals.

• FC Barcelona are currently first of the 2015-16 Liga BBVA table after 30 matchdays, with 76 points (24 wins, 4 draws and 2 losses).
  • Real Madrid CF are third with 66 points (20 wins, 6 draws and 4 defeats).
