Trading: Portuguese international Cristiano Ronaldo official ambassador of the platform XTrade

The Portuguese international Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid CF, Liga BBVA) has become the official ambassador XTrade, digital platform for derivatives trading, on 28/03/2016. The duration of this partnership was not disclosed.

"Given Ronaldo’s substantial social media profile - as the first athlete to reach over 200 million social media followers across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram - this strategic partnership aims to promote XTrade’s brand and expand its reach in the football industry," said the Cypriot platform, which was launched in 2009.

"To be the best, you need the best. That is why I have chosen to partner with XTrade," said Cristiano Ronaldo. The partnership was negotiated via Polaris Sports Limited and Capital, the agencies which manage image rights of Cristiano Ronaldo, and both held by the company Mint Media (owned by the Singaporean businessman Peter Lim, also owner of Valencia CF, Liga BBVA).
