"The whole (TV contracts) process was fair and well documented. The way it was presented was just a shame," said Gianni Infantino, president of FIFA, on 10/04/2016, regarding TV rights contracts signed by UEFA in 2006 and 2007 when he was the director of Legal Affairs division, which earned his name a mention in the Panama Papers, the name of the scandal of Panamanian shell companies revealed on 03/04/2016.

"I am dismayed and will not accept that my integrity is being doubted by certain areas of the media, especially given that UEFA has already disclosed in detail all facts regarding these contracts," had said Gianni Infantino, on 05/04/2016.

"The contract was negotiated in detail by the marketing team and reviewed by two divisions of UEFA. According to the standard procedure, it was signed by two directors of UEFA.
