Betting website Dafabet new main shirt sponsor of Aston Villa

Aston Villa (ENG, Premier League) have signed a front-of-shirt sponsorship deal with Asian betting website Dafabet until 2015, the club announced on 11/06/2013.

The Philippines-based firm’s logo will replace "Genting Casinos", which two-year contract with Villa expired at the end of the 2012-13 season.

"This is a good partnership for the club. We are looking forward to working together with Dafabet as we continue to build and move the club forward," said Paul Faulkner, CEO of Aston Villa on the 11/06/2013.

John Cruces, the head of sponsorships at Dafabet, added: "To be associated with one of the oldest and most successful clubs in England will help us achieve our aim of making Dafabet a household name - not just in Asia, where the majority of our players are currently from, but worldwide."
