Matchday 29 of the Bundesliga drew an average of 45,438 from 08 to 10/04/2016. The average attendance of the German championship reached 42,951 spectators on the 2015-16 season, a slight decrease of 1.5% compared to 2014-15. The Bundesliga stadium fill rate is 91% in 2015-16.

The Revierderby between FC Schalke 04 - Borussia Dortmund (2-2) drew the best crowd of the matchday, with 61,670 spectators at the Veltins Arena in Gelsenkirchen. The Bundesliga is the top football league in the world in terms of attendance, and drew more than 40,000 spectators for seven of the nine games of Matchday 29.
