Kosovo: the admission of the federation to UEFA and FIFA on the agenda of the May Congresses

"Application for the affiliation of the Football Federation of Kosova to UEFA," is on the agenda of the 40^th Ordinary UEFA Congress to be held in Budapest (HUN), on 03/05/2016. "Admission of the Football Federation of Kosova" is Item 15 of the agenda of the 66^th FIFA Congress which will take place in Mexico City (MEX) on 12 and 13/05/2016.

"The Football Federation of Kosovo (FFK) confirmed its application to FIFA on 15/03/2016. At the same time, the FFK noted that it could only be admitted as a member of FIFA once that it has first been admitted as a member of UEFA," said the international federation on 12/04/2016.

"The FFK’s application is being processed by FIFA together with UEFA as the geographically responsible confederation. As part of the relevant procedures, the two organisations decided to conduct an inspection visit to Kosovo, which was carried out on 13 and 14 April 2016 by representatives of the FIFA and UEFA administrations," added FIFA.

The FFK would become the 55^th member federation of UEFA, and the 210^th of FIFA.
