Sport1, the German free-TV channel, drew 6.26 million viewers on average during the second leg quarter-final match of the Europa League between Liverpool FC - Borussia Dortmund (4-3, Liverpool advanced 5-4 on aggregate) on 14/04/2016 (kick-off at 21:05 CET), which is a new record in the history of the channel.

This figure represented an audience share of 21.2%, and allowed Sport1 to achieve the best performance of the day on the German television market.

• The pay-TV channel Sky Deutschland also co-broadcast the game, but its audience was not known as of 15/04/2016.
• In England, Liverpool - Borussia Dortmund was broadcast on the pay-TV channel BT Sport Europe, whose audience figures have not yet been disclosed.
