The CBF (Brazilian Football Confederation) has signed a partnership with food company BRF on 12/06/2013. The 9-year contract begins with the launch of the Confederations Cup (15-30/06/2013) and will end in 2022.

BRF has chosen to promote Sadia through the partnership, with the brand being the company’s biggest asset in the foreign market.

In 2009, Sadia merged with Perdigao to become BRF. "The Sadia brand, for its leadership here and in several markets, was chosen to represent the BRF. But football is very big and there are several possible ways in which we can activate our brands," said Jose Antonio Fay, CEO of BRF.

This contract further strengthens the presence of BRF in sport. Through its brands Sadia and Batavo (dairy products), it signed an official partnership with the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Rio in 2016, on 22/05/2013.
