UEFA: Michel Platini summoned before the CAS on 29/04/2016, hopes for a decision before 03/05/2016

Michel Platini, the suspended president of UEFA, has been summoned to a hearing at the Court of Arbitration for Sport on Friday 29/04/2016, the body which he filed an appeal for the annulment of his suspension of six years from any position in football, levied by the FIFA Appeal Committee on 24/02/2016.

"Michel Platini is satisfied with this date. And he is convinced that justice will prevail. He hopes for a decision before 03/05/2016, the date of UEFA Congress in Budapest (HUN)," said Platini's legal team to News Tank Football on 15/04/2016.

"I wait for the CAS decision. I think it will be the end of April. I do not know what I did wrong, so I hope the court will tell me at least what, exactly, was my fault," said Michel Platini, in an interview with beIN Sports France, broadcast on 06/04/2016.
