Ligue 1: Hyundai extends as shirt sponsor of Olympique Lyonnais until the end of the 2017-18 season

The automobile manufacturer Hyundai Motor France extended its shirt sponsorship partnership with Olympique Lyonnais (Ligue 1) for an additional two seasons, on 15/04/2016. Hyundai has been the shirt sponsor of the Lyon club since 2012-13. The current partnership, which began in 2014-15, was set to expire at the end of the 2015-16 season (estimated annual amount of €5m).

As in previous seasons, Hyundai receives visibility not only on the shirt of Olympique Lyonnais, but also on the club's communication platforms (including digital) and on the LED advertising boards at Parc OL (59,186 seats).

"The adventure continues. We decided to extend for another two years since we were delighted the first four years of this partnership. We want to keep talking football. OL have been used as a communication medium for advertising, social networking... and Parc OL is an important project for not only for Lyon, but also for Hyundai, as it is a fabulous tool that will allow significant growth," said Lionel French-Keogh, the CEO Hyundai Motor France, on 15/04/2016.
