Bundesliga: the Veltins brewery extends and expands partnership with Wolfsburg until 2019

The German brewery C. & A. Veltins has extended its collaboration with the VfL Wolfsburg (Bundesliga), for three additional years, until the end of the 2018-19 season, on 15/04/2016. The original contract, which began in 2013-14, was set to expire after the 2015-16 season. According to German media, the new agreement is valued at €1.3m per season.

The significance of this new partnership for Veltins is to increase its level of commitment from the category "premium partner" to the category "major partner", and also to become the exclusive partner of the VfL Wolfsburg women's team. Veltins is the only beer served at the Volkswagen Arena (30,000 seats) and the AOK-Stadion (5200 seats, home to the women's team and youth teams) and will receive "increased" visibility on the advertising boards of the two stadiums.
