Bundesliga: Procter & Gamble, official partner of Bayern Munich in Germany, Austria and Switzerland

The German subsidiary of Procter & Gamble, an American group of consumer goods, has become a regional partner of FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga) in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, beginning on 01/07/2016, reported the club and the company on 20/04/2016. The duration of the partnership was not specified.

The partnership focuses on the brand portfolio of the entire Procter & Gamble group. The first initiatives will consist of TV advertising campaigns as well as marketing on digital platforms and in stores. Special "Bayern Munich" edition products will be produced for the Gillette brands (shaving), Braun (electric razors), Head & Shoulders (shampoo) and Oral-B (toothpaste and toothbrushes).

"Through its partnership with FC Bayern, Procter & Gamble targets a large group of football fans as well as furthering its commitments in professional sports," said the American consumer goods group on 20/04/2016.
